Today is CatCentric’s 4th Anniversary, and it’s all about YOU!
Hi, my dear friends and readers! Today, CatCentric celebrates its 4th Anniversary. Four fantastic years of sharing our affection for and knowledge of these wonderful creatures with the most awesome genre of the public, the cream of the crop, the Cat Lovers!
I am extremely honored and blessed to have this opportunity.
Last year, my amazing team of volunteers threw me the most touching celebration, including a delightfully heartwarming homemade video (which you can watch here). As promised, you and your cats are the focus of this year’s anniversary celebration, but first, I’d like to say something about these volunteers, without whom CatCentric would be but a pale shadow of itself.
My deep and heartfelt thanks to Laurie Goldstein, Carolina Lima, Beth Laubenthal, Carol Dorr, Cheryl Craig, Michelle O’Kelly, and Nichole Kelland, who make up the core of the volunteer team and manage the Facebook side of CatCentric almost completely at their discretion. I would be so lost without you ladies!
Additional thanks to Jo Singer, Tiffani Hager, and Christine Welborn, among many others, and new volunteers Dawn Sanchez and Adrien Chandler. Your support has been – and will be! – a blessing and CatCentric is richer for your presence on the team.
And, of course, Brandon Luchak has my undying gratitude for demystifying the enigma that is website administration and making it manageable for someone who had no skill and less desire to become a website owner.
All of you are amazing, my dearest friends, and CatCentric wouldn’t be the incredible resource it is without you!
And that brings me back to you, CatCentric’s readers and fans. Thank YOU for being here! Absolutely none of this work would be worth a single flick of a kitty whisker if all of you cat owners, guardians and caretakers weren’t out there reading and learning and, most importantly, making changes for the better for your cats. Your stories of incredible turnarounds in the health and behavior of your sweet kitties are heartwarming and fiercely joyful. I love getting your emails, even though they often make me cry. Those stories are the very embodiment and consummation of CatCentric’s mission.
And that is exactly how we’re going to make you the focus of today’s celebration. Tell us in the comments below how CatCentric has helped you improve your cats’ lives. Did a website article aid you in understanding and correcting a behavior problem? Did the Facebook group assist you in finding and transitioning to a more nutritious diet? Did a blog post shed some light on a raw feeding question you’d been puzzling over?
Share with us in as few or as many words as you like – in what way is your kitty healthier or happier because of CatCentric?
In closing – here’s looking forward to another year of amazing growth, change and happy, healthy kitties! I love you guys, I love being a part of all this, and the coming year is going to be crazy awesome! #CelebrateCatCentric2015

Happy Anniversary Tracy! We may be your support team, but this wonderful and informative group would not be here without your vision, hard work and dedication. For that, my cats (Drewe, Chandra and Charlie) are very grateful <3
We’re all in this together, right, Cheryl? 🙂
Happy Anniversary Tracy and thank you for all that you have done. Everyday I’m grateful for your help with my Henry who has inflammatory bowel. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your team
The gratitude is mutual, hon! And you are a pleasure to work with.
Great information and really nice people. Happy Anniversary Tracy!! You have helped so many cats!! Keep up the good work :DDDD
Thank you, Holly. Everything I do is for the kitties, so hearing from someone who has been helped in some manner is huge, and makes it all worthwhile.
I’m new to this site, but thankful to find like-minded cat peeps to learn from, share with and help stomp out kibble! Happy anniversary.
Hello and welcome to CatCentric, Deb. And I love that! “Stomp out kibble!” 🙂
Happy anniversary. Have a gweat day.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
Thank you, Dezi and Lexi. You are very sweet kitties and I hope your day is awesome, too!
